About

Hi, I’m the Saguaro Storyteller — a married, working mom on a mission to prove that epic family adventures don’t need an epic price tag (or a side of financial panic). As a two-working-parent household, we are forever balancing PTO hours, school schedules, and grocery bills. Arizona to Anywhere is where I share the honest, real stories of how we juggle the beautiful dance of work, raising a daughter, and wanderlust — on a very real-life budget. I have spent my career as an early childhood professional, so I bring plenty of tried-and-tested tips and tricks for making travel with kids at any age more magical and enjoyable, even when you’re squeezing adventures into school breaks, long weekends, or a random Tuesday afternoon.

At different stages of our family life, we’ve had wildly different amounts of extra money for travel. This blog is the honest story of how we keep saying yes to family adventures without saying yes to travel debt — because who wants to unpack suitcases and a scary credit card bill at the same time?

Around here, we believe the real magic isn’t the destination at all — it’s the people around your kitchen table, the laughter in the backseat, and the tiny moments you notice when you choose to be fully present. Whether your “anywhere” is a blanket fort in the living room or a stamp in a passport, joy lives wherever your favorite people are, and that’s the adventure we’re chasing.

When the sun’s awake, I’m awake — no filter, just true Wyoming magic. But seriously, why can’t I get up this early on work days?

Wander Wisely,
