Welcome to my first blog post! I’ve spent years pinching pennies to pull off some pretty amazing trips with my family, and it’s finally time to share what I’ve learned. If you’re looking for a “quit your job, sell your house, and live happily ever after in a van” story, this is not that blog. But if you’re a working parent who wants real adventures with your kids—without going into debt or beating yourself up over every dollar—you’re in exactly the right place.

Arizona to Anywhere is not just a site reviewing destinations—I’m sharing how to fit real travel and adventure into a life of work, school runs, and overlapping schedules. When money is tight and time is even tighter, travel can feel out of reach, but simple adventures have kept my family connected and given my daughter some of her best life lessons. Family adventures don’t need a plane ticket or even a full tank of gas—maybe it’s a Friday night pajama party, or if you’re in Arizona like me, a sunset walk in the desert. And yes, sometimes it’s a road trip to Disneyland, flight to Yellowstone, or even a boat to Statue of Liberty—with lots of planning, saved Hilton points, and enough money in our savings account.
